Hi, I’m Jim.

Jim: “Sure thing! I’ll get you my bio soon.”

Narrator: “The truth is, Jim knew he had no intention of ever writing his own bio.”

Young leaders are Jim Molloy's favourite kind of people. That's why he spends so much time coaching, teaching, and exploring leadership with people who are just starting to lead. Of course, leaders who are already further into their journey are his kind of people too.

The funny thing is, if you could go back a few years and chat with people about Jim's future as a leader, they'd say, "That's unlikely." They might even laugh a little. The truth is, Jim became a dynamic, capable, qualified leader because of coaching, training, and opportunity.

He'll help you in the same way. He genuinely wants to do the same for you. He believes inside every leader is a greater leader. Jim will be in your corner - and he keeps his word.

Jim develops leaders and has intentionally built a kit of tools, training, and skills to best help people. He's a Certified Coach Practitioner, a Birkman Certified Professional Consultant, Certified GiANT Coach, and a specialist with the Leadership Practices Inventory.

He wrote a book called Every Leader's Everest several years ago. Everest is about the effects of insecurity on leaders. It almost broke the Internet. His next book is coming out next year. Soon to Lead is specifically for emerging leaders.

Of course, in true ‘About me’ fashion, if you're wondering what he's doing if he's not working, Jim spends his downtime ATVing or fishing. His family crew is Sandy and his three sons. He says he doesn't like his dog, Eddie the Goldendoodle, but no one believes that. Every Saturday, Jim takes Eddie go for a car ride to get donuts (Eddie gets the co-pilot’s seat).

Promises.

Whether you’re a student or a teacher, employed or unemployed, a manager or a volunteer, a church leader, community leader or business leader, you should know what you’re signing up before our coaching starts. Specifically, you need to know your coach’s commitment and approach. Even more to the point, it’s only fair that you know more about me and how I show up for leaders. I respect you, your story and your journey. My coaching experience has helped me identify the values that guide my approach.

  • I promise to treat you as an equal. I'm not better than you. Remember, coaches usually don't play better than players. They just know how to help them achieve goals.

  • I promise to be professional and organized. I score pretty high on administrative (we can check your score too if you want) so, I'll prepare well, and communication will be solid.

  • I promise to keep your secrets unless the law makes me tell them.

  • I promise to respect you. You are important. God thinks you're a big deal, and so do I.

  • I promise to tell you the truth. I'll try to show it to you in the way you like to hear. Most times, I won't “tell” you the truth, I'll ask a few questions to help you discover it yourself.

  • I promise to help you identify your goals. If we find out that you have no goals, we'll wrap things up and still be friends.

  • I promise to work with you to challenge any obstacles. We eat problems for breakfast.

  • I promise to be clear and open about coaching methods used, including steps and tools.

  • I promise non-judgemental support. YOU are responsible for YOU. So, you do you. I'll help you be your most effective you in all your you-ness.

  • I promise to suggest other services, therapies, and action steps that may prove appropriate or beneficial, without obligation, bias or liability.

  • I promise to respect your freedom of choice. You make your own decisions, and I'll keep sleeping well at night.

  • I promise to act as a catalyst in helping you to develop a fresh perspective in many areas of your life and leadership.

  • I promise to positively challenge you to explore your current reality and then help find smart ways to make the changes you require.

  • I promise compassionate support. I'll honour your feelings.
